About us
La Mar-iposario, a recreational center in the heart of Lima located in Miraflores. Currently recognized in the TOP 10 of the "Tales of the Cocktail" awards and in the TOP 5 of the "World Culinary Awards." Our main mission is to highlight the unparalleled natural beauty of butterflies, offering a comprehensive experience in our 5-story building. Immerse yourself in an authentic experience, accompanied by our charming hosts, the butterflies. In this environment, we create a unique synergy between flora, fauna, gastronomy, mixology, and well-being, utilizing every space in the building for you to disconnect from the bustling city and relax in a truly unique place. Currently, we host around 400 live butterflies, representing 5 different species in various stages from pupae to fully developed butterflies. Additionally, La Mar-iposario has its own Center for Lepidoptera Studies in Tarapoto, serving as our main base for the reproduction of these fascinating species.
Our plates
We have a Private Garden in Pachacamac where we cultivate over 60% of the vegetables used in our gastronomy and mixology. At La Mar-iposario, we aim to offer an experience that not only delights your senses but also highlights our commitment to natural sustainability and authenticity in every detail.
